Commission Procedures and Fees
Initial Steps of the Process:
1. When you are interested in commissioning a painting, contact me and we will discuss the subject, your budget, timeframe and I’ll answer any other questions you have about the process.
2. When you have decided to go ahead with the commission, you will pay a 50% deposit, of which 30% of the total fee will be non-refundable. The other 50% is due upon completion.
3. I will begin the sketches after we've agreed on the photos and the deposit is secure.
Photos-
1. Send me a selection of photos to work with indicating your choice as the primary scene or pose you want. The other photos help me to see consistency in skin-tones, details of clothing, background, etc.
2. Photos need to be at least 2MB or larger to make sure I have enough detail to work with. Please contact me with any questions about this.
3. After I receive your photos, we will discuss your preferences and vision for the painting you are commissioning
4. I create a sketch to confirm the layout of the painting
The Next Steps-
1. After the initial sketch is made and approved by you, I will start painting.
2. Upon your approval of the final painting I will send an invoice for the balance due for the painting and shipping fees if applicable. I will safely ship the painting when it is dry enough to send and the invoice is paid.
